A SHORT-TERM THERAPY OPTION
Play Therapy Intensive
A two-week play therapy program offering frequent sessions and parent support for families looking for a more focused therapeutic approach.
Who This Is For
This program is often chosen by families who:
Prefer a structured, time-limited therapy format
Want more frequent sessions over a shorter period of time
Are looking to support emotional growth, coping skills, or regulation
Want additional parent guidance alongside their child’s sessions
Are considering therapy but not sure about committing to long-term weekly sessions
This approach can be used whether concerns are new, ongoing, or something you would simply like support with sooner rather than later.
What Is a Play Therapy Intensive?
The Play Therapy Intensive is a structured two-week program designed to create therapeutic momentum through increased session frequency and consistent parent support.
Instead of meeting once per week over several months, your child attends multiple play therapy sessions within a short period of time. This allows for more continuity in the therapeutic process and helps build trust, connection, and emotional safety more quickly.
Parent support is built into the process so you feel informed, supported, and equipped with practical strategies throughout the program.
What to Expect
Over approximately two weeks:
Your child attends frequent play therapy sessions
You receive structured parent support before, during, and after the program
Themes are observed and integrated across sessions for continuity
You receive guidance to support emotional regulation and behaviour at home
The process remains flexible and responsive to your child’s needs
This format allows us to build momentum in the therapeutic process without long gaps between sessions.
